Exclusive Contracts for Open Access

An article posted today in TechCrunch discusses Google's new patent for an open wireless world. Where a consumer can take their phone and gain access to the Internet through whichever provider they choose at any given point. Goodbye cell phone contract deals?

This week I was forced to renew my sprint contract for two more years and got stuck with another crap phone.

Anyway the point I was getting to is that Google is all about open access yet they now have an exclusive contract with T-Mobile? I am guessing this is temporary and this phone will be unlocked and sold on Ebay within no time but either way Google looks a little like a hypocrite.

Coffee Shopping

SO my home base coffee shop for right now is Big Bear Cafe here. Big Bear, on the corner of First St & R if conveniently 3 blocks from my apt, but that is not the only reason I go there. Coffee shops in DC like Bus Boys are way too big and full of these silly blogger (Ha!) Big Bear though over priced and the occasional battle with flies left over from last weeks pig roast is the most laid back and easy to work at.

Yes this is a useless post but I felt the to use my hyper link skills.

Starting Something New

Here goes nothing. I have another side project that I will reveal soon, but I wanted a chance to try one of these on my own and get a hang of it.
